"KANO SAGA/CONSEQUENCES OF POLITICAL HYPOCRICY"

"KANO SAGA/CONSEQUENCES OF POLITICAL HYPOCRICY"

 "KANO SAGA/CONSEQUENCES OF POLITICAL HYPOCRICY"

I'm sorry for the delay, this piece should have been posted earlier than now, but I have delayed it for some reasons that aren't worth disclosing.

I urge you(the readers) to read this piece with a clean heart, devoid of any ill feeling. I seek for your forgiveness especially on areas that I seem to be too naive and sleepry.

Forgive me on my piece structure, choice of words, and above all grammar 😊😊.

Huh! "You won", this is what i said to my first thought,  because of the battle and debate it had with the second one on 'whether to/not to  write on the trending case of emir's dethronement in kano', and because i just realised that my hand had been writing on the issue.😊

Indeed it's shocking and sad to wake up and realise that such a horrible news has surrounded and polluted the atmosphere, with so many reactions, deductions, analysis, and opinions by; politicians, pundits, journalists, analysts, academics, laymen, and a host of others on the run and on a tip toe.

Astonishing! from the very first day of this event, when i saw people's reactions, especially the laymen's, my heart bled, my eyes cried inconsolably because of how i saw 'anger misplacement' has nakedly been prevailed by the laymen, on issue that i think required less of their precious attentions.

Yes, one may say "it threatens our peace and security, it's political, it might slacken our unity, it's a revenge, on and on..., and above all it's been done by someone with zero credibility(having his CV filled with scandals)" , Yes i agree, i can't dispute that. But that's a battle between the so-called Nigerian elites, sorry to say! How long has your/our peace been threatened in this country? What benefit will your/our anger yield out? How is that helping you/us economically? You/we need to be careful, you/we need to know what's worth prioritizing!

OUR ELITES HAVE FAILED US

Yes they have( especially the politicians). I said it unapologetically, looking at the bizarre state of this country post military era. These people seem to have been busy trying to address their personal plights, hurdles, and interests, not ours and not national.

They seem to live on a mission of vengeance.

They seem to live a life that so much cherish the theory of 'give and take', and what pundits called "power/wealth recycling theory".

They live a life that kinda guarantee only their children a better future, a future that equips them to help history repeats itself (that's taking the posts that were once held by their parents/fathers) .

Where are you/we heading to? Why are you/we misplacing our anger to something less impacting? I think it would've been better had we become angry on issues like; the ongoing strike, prices of commodities, security, Covid-19, and so many things that are of national concerns than of individuals.

To be precise and more specific, let me pin my talk on the following:

Dr. Ganduje

HRH Sanusi LS ll

Mal. Nasiru El-rufai

... I can't agree more that, these people deserve to be given an optimum reverie,  i also have same for them. But that won't stop me from untying the parcel.

For Dr. Ganduje

Yes, no doubt you deserve some accolades for doing wonderfully in so many areas, such as; infrastructure, healthcare, education, etc.

We can't also forget about your massive contribution in seeing the progress our beloved religion, yes you won a good title # KADIMUL ISLAM. With that, you deserve our encomiums.

May Allah strengthen you on  that part.

But still we can't turn a blind eye on the avalanche scandal slots in your profile including the most recent foray against the emir (SLS ll), for allegedly disrespecting you and  government officials, that's your interest! That's what you intended to protect, that's what you labelled as a crime, that's when you wanted to call a spade a spade.

Astonishing! Dr., if i may ask you. What about the other people that were caught massively with corruption cases, including you? What did they/you deserve? What should they/you have undergone? Or it's because they/you had eluded the chain of justice resulted by some crazy amnesties and a conspiracy of silence from the oval office.

Lets not be doubled standard , lets not be too political! And i want to leave you with these words :

" it Is better we clean our dirty linings first before jumping into cleaning and fixing that of the others".

For HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi ll

Yes, you are indeed; a mentor, a schorla, an intellectual, and a social critique, I can go on and on. Your profile is good -- more of a dream to every young person that craves for excellence than a personal belonging. I/we have optimum respect for you, for playing an unprecedented role on so many issues, especially the role on getting JAIZ bank( Islamic banking) approved. No doubt it's a great and bold move, and we can't be more grateful.

We can't also forget the transformation you brought into the CBN:  including your leadership on 'the radical anti corruption campaign against customers' deposits mismanagement' by other commercial banks.

But still,  that can't steal our minds from referring back to what history had in store, especially when it comes to some of your propositions, claims on religious circle that haven't been well explained till now. We don't want to be too judgmental sir, but a lot has been said that needs more elucidation.

We Can't also forget about your long and undying stand and struggle on the issue of ALMAJIRIS and what experts called "victims of parental negligence"  -- especially in the northern region, yes that's a good struggle, a struggle that's worth supporting by all and sundry, and a struggle that we also have been relentlessly behind.

But that's not enough, that's not the best you can do. How can we justify that you mean it? How can we justify that it's not just a sweat saying? How can we justify it? When we've never seen a foundation of any sort founded by you ; to help these young boys, to help them at least realise how life is purposeful, to help them acquire good education.

How can we believe that? When we saw in your collection: a car(phantom Vll) that's worth #132mil. , a car that could have saved and put back many lives of these children on track. How do you want us to believe that you mean what you've been saying?

I think you need more action than talking... as I leave you with this maxim: "ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN VOICE"

For Mal. Nasiru El- Rufai

... 😊 , a scholar, a mentor to so many people, a true definition of a leader, a narcissist 😊 I must say, a reformer, and so on and so forth.

I don't even know how to describe you, but the less I say the more fulfilling it can be. Indeed our respect to you is high, because of the tremendous work you had done... ( FCT has said all), because of the work you've been doing, because of some few crusades, and because of the changes you've brought to kaduna. For that, sir, we're eternally grateful.

But again, that will not imprison our minds from crashing the egg shell , from unveiling the bruises, and from divulging the the role you played(maybe unwittingly, or recklessly)  in ensuring that HRH (SLS ll, your intimate friend) had been dethroned. Yes, i know some may say "this statement sounds paradoxical,  a role that causes downfall for your intimate friend!"

Yes i mean it

Let me remind you of your involvement, can you remember the day you left for kano to ensure your crusader(Dr.) had maintained his post? Can you remember the hailing and chanting you got from the poor masses, thinking that you're a hero? Can you remember all these things?

I guess you can,... Indeed! That's the reward of conspiracy theory.

That's what i called " political back flow and back siphonage"

That's the consequences of political hypocricy, that's the reward of been blind to justice because of political interest.

You can see how costly it's, how costly it's when you subscribe to some bad political theories.

Before I go, let me leave you with an advice.

–'It's good if you pay more attention on the negative corollaries  of conspiracy theory than on the positive ones, so that you can know whether it's worth subscribing'.

And For the masses/laymen/ low level Nigerians or whatever I may call you/ourselves.

I have these as a reminder and  an awareness resuscitator.

Know that:

– we live at a time when 99% of our elites don't ask about us, about the poor/masses/laymen. They don't care about our status, they don't care about our well-being.

– we live at a time when our politicians are  busy on several missions; that are not subordinate to our interest. They live on a mission of; vengeance, recruiting their offsprings for a better future, harnessing their personal dreams.

– we live at a time when their sole aim is to radicalize our mindsets so that we can no longer think rationally, so that we can no longer nurture our hopes, so that we can no longer allocate our feelings appropriately.

– we live at a time when... 😭😭

I'm bored. Please  Permit to end this piece with some few words for our own good.

Please,

Let's at least know the value of our feelings. Let's try to differentiate between our problems and their problems. Let's try to understand what is worth prioritizing. Let's try and know our stance. Let's try and live a life that's purposeful.

Thank you.
